Andes Amazon Conservancy

Executive Director, Ecuador (2021-2024)

Led a $3M p/y connectivity conservation program engaging 175+ communities across four Amazon Indigenous nations, overseeing all aspects of implementation, resource allocation, and partner engagement.

  • Led nationwide consultations with Indigenous nations, facilitating fair and culturally-aligned decision processes while successfully bridging Western conservation requirements with community and community practices

  • Developed and implemented operational frameworks that integrated Andean cosmology and conservation goals while maintaining legal compliance across Indigenous nation teams
